Investing and Trading 101

Investing can be complicated and there is a lot of terminology to know. This course will go over the basics of investing starting with the different types of investment products, how to place trades and how to use options. In regards to options, this course will cover the basics of what options are, how to use them, how they are priced, examples of trading options, calculating breakeven price, max risk / max reward and understanding profit / loss diagrams. This course will go over buying and selling options as well as complex multi-leg strategies. It will also cover the different types of trading accounts and trading rules / restrictions. This course will not go over reading candle charts, identifying chart patterns, using technical indicators or how to choose which specific options to trade.
